Nicaragua - Medium Roast

I love those brewed cacaos. I started with the taste box and I liked this one the best. It is a creamy smooth cacao taste. I brew it in my pan with water for five minutes. I will buy it again. I am so happy about this alternative to coffee.

This is a super yum medium roast that I could easily enjoy a whole 1.5 litre French press of. Lost 1 star just due to being overpriced. Unless this changes I’ll struggle to give any Crio BRU products 5 stars.

My go to flavour is Maracaibo so I find this a close second - really smooth and chocolatey

It would have been good to have received hints and tips to get the most out of the product. I seem to have wasted a lot thinking it was one time use, then realised I could add boiling water and re cook to use again.

I do like it. I had a major health scare with a duodenal ulcer and nearly bled out, as a result I have cut out a 4-6 coffee a day habit. I now have 1-2 cups of the hot chocolate. I make a big cup with three teaspoons of the roasted cacao and one teaspoon of raw powdered cacao. Put it in the French press, leave it for 5-10 mins. Add a bit of honey, and some rice milk. Its pretty tasty. But if I do not put the raw powder it tends to be a little weak. But its been a good thing to cut out caffeine.
