Cavalla French/Dark Roast

Premium roasted cocoa with natural hints of
coconut and cinnamon

Winding along its western front, the Cavalla River gives shape to the exotic Ivory Coast. The surrounding agricultural area is dotted with small, family-owned farms that produce the very best African cacao. The dark, earthy-toned beans are carefully handpicked and dried naturally by the sun to enhance the full-bodied chocolate flavor, which hints of dark spice, coconut and cinnamon. These incredible natural flavours come to life when you brew a cup of Cavalla, made from 100% pure, darkly roasted cocoa beans. 

For those that like a darker roasted premium coffee roasted flavour, this is the perfect Crio Brü.

Making Crio Bru is easy, whether in a coffee maker or French Press. And Cavalla is incredibly delicious, especially when you add a little creamer and cinnamon.

    I love this drink and wished I had found it earlier as it is not only delicious but helps with those afternoon cravings! I also love how I am able to use it in my homemade choc balls.

    I love to add this to cakes and muffins for a chocolate taste without the extra sugar.

    This is a full bodied drink. It takes quite a while ti drip through the grounds but is well worth the wait..... A satisfying replacement for coffee without the caffeine!

    Delicious, strong bodied Crio Bru. I have one every day. I use it in my Mud Cake recipe instead of 250g of coffee 250g of brewed Crio Bru YUM!

    This is good food. I enjoy it sprinkled on my cereal, as well as in a number of recipes for energy bars (nuts, dried fruit etc) which I make and take on long cycle rides. I tend to eat less sweet chocolate since discovering cocoa nibs. Cavalla Dark Roast is my preferred blend; I generally like complex, full-bodied flavours

    I'm a chocaholic but this satisfies my cravings, even with the suggested 180ml water used. I double it sometimes to really fill me up. (i have it free of sugar and milk.)I then chuck the soaked remains into my next cake/muffins

    Cavalla French Roast is very chocolatey and has an incredible depth of flavour. I brew using the French Press and find I don't need to add milk or sugar.It is all I have for morning tea and easily keeps my going till lunchtime. Definitely my all time favourite Bru!!
